Sensational Extended School Year (ESY) Camp combines extended school year learning with camp activities in an outdoor environment. It creates an experience that allows students to continue working on their IEP goals while still enjoying their summer break as they take part in recreational activities that allow their bodies to be as active as their minds.

Sensational ESY welcomes all students who have extended school year indicated in their IEP. Registration must be completed by each student’s school district.

Campers enjoy swimming, visiting our horse barn, playing gaga ball, doing crafts, and everything else our Cheerful Day campers experience. During learning time, they will benefit from a dedicated cabin classroom set up for maximum engagement and learning success. Sensational ESY Intervention Specialists track each child’s progress toward their IEP goals and ensure students get the individualized attention they need. Sensational ESY also employs occupational therapists and speech language pathologists to round out the team and offer everything your student needs in a classroom setting.

If your home is full of silly souls and non-stop giggles our Comedy Camp will be a natural environment for your camper!

Students will study different forms of comedy such as pantomime, slapstick, improvisation, sketch comedy, and more.

Working individually, in partners, and in small groups campers will get a range of experiences as they write, act out, and view hilarious skits and sketches all week long. Join us on the final day of camp as the students perform their favorites from Comedy Camp!

At The Treehouse, we offer developmental play groups for kids that are facilitated by pediatric occupational and physical therapists who are trained to provide a positive play experience for all kids, regardless of ability level. Common group activities include: movement games, fine motor craft activities, social skills activities, and sensory exploration.

Children will dive deep into their imaginations as they bring dramatic roles to life during this popular TimberNook program. This program is sure to inspire and create lasting memories for years to come.

This camp is for children ages 4 to 6 who will not enter kindergarten in the fall. Sessions will emphasize fine motor skills needed for pre-writing, grasp, introduction to upper case letters, writing name, attention to task, turn taking, and two hand use through a variety of sensory experiences and games.

During this program, your child will bring a stuffed animal from home to share in their outdoor play adventures. Children will have the opportunity to create handcrafted items for their special stuffed friend and bring them along for imaginative, sensational journeys. This program inspires hours of creative play!

Our inclusive indoor camp for kids ages 3-7 features fun weekly themes with matching activities. Each day includes Open Play in our sensory gym, hands-on sensory activities, group games, arts & crafts, story time, and snack time (snack brought from home).

Your school age children will spend their day with professional teaching artists learning the fundamentals of acting through theater, movement, dance, music, visual arts, and media-based activities.

Students will focus on a different fundamental skill of acting (concentration, cooperation, imagination, body, and voice) each day, putting all these skills together in a self-written and performed production at the end of the week!

We offer a seven-week summer speech camp for children aged 18 months to 6 years old. We have: a low student/teacher ratio of 3:1, interactive learning & creative expression, music & gross motor daily, a language-rich environment, and movement-based speech therapy.

Join us for Musical Theatre camp if your young one(s) just can’t help tapping their toes wherever they go! Each day students will focus on the fundamentals of musical theatre (acting, dancing, and singing) as well as explore a different musical.

Participants will leave camp knowing how to properly warm-up their voices and bodies, their stage directions, the 5 tools of the actor, and how to work in an ensemble! Campers will play games, practice their technique, watch performances, learn numbers, and even reinvent some of their favorite musicals.

At the end of camp, participants will perform their favorite creations/numbers from throughout the week for their friends and family!

Once Upon a Camp is designed for preschoolers, with or without a diagnosis, who are able to communicate with peers and participate in group activities independently (without close 1:1 supervision at all times).

Campers should be able to sit for a story for 5-8 minutes without assistance, scribble, color or draw with crayons, manage child-safe scissors, use glue with some assistance, and generally follow directions well.

Children will enjoy movement, music, and language activities, arts and crafts projects, and a snack.

PLC will be providing specially designed programming for students with disabilities beyond the traditional school year. Services will be guided by the IEP.

DSANEO is partnering with Rays of Play for a fun early learning summer program designed for children ages 3 to 6. Play2Learn helps preschool and kindergarten learners grow through play, creativity and discovery! Explore exciting weekly themes, practice early reading and language skills, discover math and science through hands-on activities, build friendships and confidence, creative arts and imaginative play.

Our program welcomes families with children with Down syndrome as well as other disabilities. We are open to all.

Nicole Gerami LLC offers Preschool Play and Learn, for children ages 3 to 4 years who will be entering preschool in the fall. The focus of the program is on developing and practicing skills needed to make a smooth transition to preschool. Skills targeted include cooperative play, navigating transitions, vocabulary building, letter and number recognition, patterning, following directions, and asking and answering questions in a classroom context. The program runs for three half-days per week and is scheduled for two weeks in early August.

An integrated camp experience for individuals with disabilities and typical peers that creates an environment that promotes educational reinforcement, physical activity, social skills, cooperative group learning and will facilitate access, equity and inclusion.

Our Sensory Art Play Camp is all about unleashing creativity through fun, hands-on experiences that tap into all five senses! In this camp, your camper will dive into exciting, sometimes messy, art projects that engage their senses in new and playful ways. Each day we’ll focus on a different sense, encouraging imaginative exploration, expression and connection through art. Whether it’s feeling textures, smelling new scents, or creating vibrant masterpieces, this camp is the perfect space for neurodiverse and disabled campers (and their siblings) to embrace creativity in a safe, supportive environment.

Our parent/child camp features the experience of two professionals – music therapy and speech therapy. This pre-camp meets for only 45-min/day for one week providing opportunities to increase communication and socialization through musical interventions. This camp is appropriate for neurodiverse campers and their siblings.
