Designed to meet the needs of dancers with diverse abilities, this class will have a modified curriculum for sit-down dancers and those with sensory needs. Each ballet camp follows a different theme and will include music, stories & choreography to match the theme. This year’s themes include Aloha Summer, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Taylor Swift Eras, Dancing through the Decades, and Broadway.

We have great assistants and have had good success with helping those with low muscle tone and non-mobile individuals experience the joy of ballet!

Camp I.D.E.A.S. provides an affordable opportunity for children with disabilities to participate in traditional summer activities in a safe environment with trained, caring, mentors.

Join us at Lorain County JVS for an exciting, hands-on program where you will explore careers in Agriculture/Sustainability, Micro-Business, Construction Services, Manufacturing and Allied Health.

Each participant will experience different pathways, enhancing their understanding of career training options and technical skills, engage in activities that develop foundational skills, teamwork, a sense of responsibility and start planning for future in-demand career opportunities.

This program is open to students 14 years and older with a documented disability and an open case with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD).

An evidence-based, small group program for children ages 5-7 that aims to strengthen children’s emotional, persistence, social and academic competencies while preventing behavior problems.

This group focuses on managing anxiety and helps develop effective strategies for managing anxiety. Participants will learn how to regulate their emotions and reduce stress using techniques that engage the five senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. Two groups are available- one for teens and one for adults.

For youth ages 3-8 years old with a physical disability. Programs include a variety of recreational activities including swimming, art, nature exploration, games and more.

Participant Note: Our program is for youth with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, spina bifida, blind, deaf, arthrogryposis, etc.
