1, 2, 3, 4… Let’s get ready for kindergarten and so much more! During our kindergarten readiness and retention camp, your child will sing about letters, dance like a shape, play colorful instruments, and even make some brand new friends! Each camp will offer your child opportunities that will increase their confidence, build social skills, and most importantly, enhance those academic skills to get them ready to succeed in this upcoming school year!

This inclusive and adapted class introduces music, theater, dance /movement and visual arts. Participants learn different art forms by engaging in movement to music, instrument play, creative dramatics, theater games, and other activities which incorporate singing, dancing, imagination and hands-on creativity. Students work to enhance gross motor skills and balance, develop body awareness and self expression, increase social interaction, and expand their creative abilities. Beyond Camp is an award-winning summer camp for children entering grades K-9 (ages 5 to 14) with mild-to-moderate special learning and social needs.

Beyond Camp serves K-9 students with mild-to-moderate social and learning differences including but not limited to: ADHD, anxiety, Autism, dyslexia, executive functioning needs and other developmental disabilities. Staff includes highly experienced intervention specialists, a speech/language pathologist, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Camp-Can-Do is a unique and innovative approach to providing educational and recreational opportunities for youth with disabilities, ages 5 to 13 during the summer months. This eight-week program is geared toward educating youth on a variety of positive and socially appropriate pursuits, as well as providing a high level of supervision for fun summer activities. Throughout the summer we hope to encourage each child’s talents to grow. Camp Can-Do campers will participate in adapted recreational activities like art, music, reading, language skills, speech, socialization, swimming, field trips and special events. A $20 non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration. Due to the nature of this camp, registration is in person or over the phone.

This camp is for children ages 4 to 6 who will not enter kindergarten in the fall. Sessions will emphasize fine motor skills needed for pre-writing, grasp, introduction to upper case letters, writing name, attention to task, turn taking, and two hand use through a variety of sensory experiences and games.

Plant the seeds in your musical garden with this decades inspired camp! From rock and rap to jazz and disco, there is so many different types of music. This 60-minute, drop-off camp, will showcase a different decade each week. As your garden grows you will be led through musical experiences focusing on different instruments, styles, famous artists, and even songwriting!

An outdoor sensory camp for 5-7 year-olds. Kids will connect with nature through hands-on exploration, outdoor activities, and creative play.

Students with special learning needs (K-12) can come to GradePower Learning’s Summer Programs to help those students continue practicing or advancing their reading, writing, fine motor and test taking skills. GradePower Learning’s curriculum aligns well with Orton-Gillingham and Wilson learners. Keep your child moving forward and avoid the summer slide.

Give your child’s reading and writing skills a huge boost this summer and send them into the school year confident and ready to learn. What I provide isn’t a traditional one-size-fits all learning experience or just “tutoring”. It is a bespoke learning program specifically tailored to the needs, abilities and learning style of the child. I include my own initial findings after our first one or two meetings along with my plan of instruction. I have found that this type of focused, individual child-centered learning yields tremendous results.

Many of my students have varying degrees of dyslexia and benefit tremendously from the phonics based, science of reading approach.

Empower Sports and the Cleveland Guardians are teaming up to offer inclusive softball at multiple parks across the greater Cleveland area this season! The program is open to players of all abilities, ages 6 and older. Each week will consist of softball skills drills, and scrimmaging. Players will be grouped into age and skill-appropriate teams to ensure players are in a safe environment with compatible peers. Our inclusive softball programs use a high-density foam core softball that is safe to our athletes while still having that realistic feel. Our coaches and volunteers will lead our players through skills and drills practices while we work our way up to playing games.

This camp is offered to children who will enter grades 1st – 3rd in the fall who have already had initial instruction in upper and lower case letters but need further work on core/hand strength, grasp, sizing, and spacing of letters, words, and sentence writing.

For youth ages 3-8 years old with a physical disability. Programs include a variety of recreational activities including swimming, art, nature exploration, games and more.
