Description
Designed for emergent communicators, this camp builds AAC and fine motor skills through fun, hands-on activities. Led by an Occupational Therapist (OT) and Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), children will explore the use of their AAC systems while engaging in interactive games, crafts, and movement-based play. The program supports language development, symbol recognition, and functional communication, while also targeting fine motor coordination needed to access AAC tools. Campers will practice requesting, commenting, and social interaction in a supportive, structured environment that encourages confidence, independence, and meaningful connection with peers.
