Ages 4-6 (ages flexible) learn about plants, geology, bugs, animals, all while experiencing their habitat and routines through adventures in the garden!

Our camps are designed to support independence, connection, and exploration. Children should be fully toilet-trained and able to separate from a parent or caregiver for the duration of the camp day. Attendees must be able to stay with the group, participate, follow directions and interact with peers and adults without 1:1 support, as camps will not be staffed to provide individual assistance.

Creative mode activate! Come make new friends and explore the popular game worlds of Minecraft, Zelda, Mario and more through the arts! Camp will include a rotation of art, music, dance and drama, all facilitated by a team of Art and Music Therapists. Assessment prior to camp is required for any new FAA families. There will be a maximum of five participants per group.

Come make new friends and explore popular children’s literature through the arts! Campers will shake, rattle and roll with Pete the Cat, explore colors with Brown Bear and pretend to be a dog who loves donuts.

Camp will include a rotation of art, music, dance and drama, all facilitated by a team of Art and Music Therapists. Assessment prior to camp is required for any new FAA families. There will be a maximum of 5 participants per group.

We provide a week-long residence camp for individuals aged 7-24 with disabilities. We run day group session activities, including swimming, games, woodcraft, art, yoga, dance, cooking, and nighttime activities like an annual talent show and dance.

In this group participants will experience dance, music, and art-making to increase both creativity and imagination as a catalyst in connecting with self and others. Participants will explore developmental movement patterns, songwriting, and collage creations to enhance peer relationships, collaboration, and a sense of empowerment. This program is designed with the flexibility to adjust to individual needs, so group members can access their fullest expression.

Students are welcome to bring a 1:1 aide or assistant if needed/desired. Individuals with experiences consistent with developmental disabilities, autism, ADHD, sensory processing, and/or other neurodivergent differences would benefit from this group. This group will take place on the main level of the building and will be wheelchair accessible.

This is a beginner-level kayak program for families looking to learn more about kayaking. Focus on entry-level kayaking skills, safety and lake exploration. At least one caregiver must attend per family.

During this program, your child will bring a stuffed animal from home to share in their outdoor play adventures. Children will have the opportunity to create handcrafted items for their special stuffed friend and bring them along for imaginative, sensational journeys. This program inspires hours of creative play!

Our signature youth program combines horses and nature with art and rhythm to explore understanding feelings and making friends. Participants will about emotions, boundaries, communication skills, transitions and more during this 8-week unmounted group.

Our program welcomes children with ADHD, anxiety and depression, as well as various other mental health diagnoses.

Ages 6-10 (ages flexible) join us in the garden for adventure, climbing, sliding, yoga, gardening and mindfully creating with nature and new friends!

Tiny Ones is designed for the smallest of our TimberNook adventurers. You AND your child will venture outdoors for creative play opportunities that foster healthy child development. You’ll also receive ideas on how to inspire independent play at home.
