We offer adaptive tennis for players (6+ years) with cognitive, emotional or physical disabilities. Players will have fun learning tennis FUNdamentals, as well as practicing agility, balance and coordination skills. An optional fitness program is available.

Designed to enhance communication for children ages 3-5. Work on social skills, articulation, and general communication. Focus areas centered around specific goal areas identified in a 1:1 screening prior to the camp.

Cheerful Day Camp offers all the activities of a traditional camp, modified for children with disabilities. We have ten action-packed weeks of activities planned on our beautiful 52-acre campus, including hiking, swimming, fishing, arts and crafts, nature study activities, games, campfire activities, music, sports, visits to our horse barn, canoeing and memories that will last a lifetime!

Cornerstone of Hope offers summer grief camps for children who have experienced the death of a loved one. Guided by Christian values, Camp Cornerstone provide a supportive and understanding environment where children ages 6-12 can learn about grief and connect with peers who have faced similar losses. Campers engage in age-appropriate grief activities led by compassionate professionals and enjoy field trips, sports, games, arts and crafts, and various other interactive experiences that foster healing and hope.

Camp LeafBridge is an activity-based summer camp for students with significant physical and cognitive disabilities. This unique program offers high levels of support while addressing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals through Extended School Year (ESY) services. Camp activities are planned and coordinated by
specialists in the areas of special education, physical/occupational/speech therapies, and assistive technology.

Cleveland Sight Center (CSC) Preschool hosts a half-day summer program for preschool-age children with a visual impairment as a primary or secondary condition. All activities address pre-academics, socialization, communication, and Expanded Core Curriculum skills. Therapies are delivered through play and stimulate the development of compensatory skills, such as pre-Braille, pre-mobility, and daily living skills. For children with multiple disabilities, we utilize the Active Learning philosophy using specifically designed equipment and instruction practices. Field trips, music therapy, and other attractions will be included. The program provides snacks and drinks, and parents provide lunch. The program can serve as ESY; NEON funding is available for eligible families. Financial Assistance is made available if income-eligible and no other funding sources are obtainable.

This is a beginner-level kayak program for families looking to learn more about kayaking. This program is offered several times throughout the summer. Focus on entry-level kayaking skills, safety, and lake exploration. At least one parent must attend per family. July 26th, Punderson State Park; August 22nd, Coe Lake, Berea.

Join us for a week of fierce beats, smooth moves and high-energy fun as you step into the world of hip hop like never before! Let’s turn up the volume and let the rhythm take over!

Inclusive football with skills and drills or scrimmage options. Welcomes players of all abilities, ages 6+.

Insight Academy holds a 5-week Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program for PreK-12 grade students with behavioral and social emotional needs or may need intervention in those areas. Our Summer ESY Program goes beyond the traditional school year instruction by providing consistent and reinforcing behavioral support over the summer, so student behaviors are well-managed when they return to school in the fall. We offer programs for Intensive Needs and Social Emotional Learning, including activities such as social and functional living skills, nature hikes and horticulture, arts and crafts, vocational opportunities, and many more. Tuition can be paid by the student’s home school district, private pay, or insurance (provided their insurance covers ABA services).

This is a beginner-level kayak program that occurs on Thursday evenings throughout the summer. Focus on both entry-level kayaking skills and entry-level to moderate kayaking skills. Build upon problem solving and social skills with opportunities to learn more advanced paddle strokes.

Music in Color camp offers students a chance to engage together through structured music therapy interventions. Students learn how to play multiple instruments through matching colors on the instrument and in music notation with the piano, guitar, piano, Boomwhackers, handbells and tone chimes. We also include sensory integration and sensory regulation with movement manipulatives and sensory items.

OUAC is based on a different book each week and activities incorporate story reading, crafts, gross motor activities and yoga poses. It is designed for 3-5 year-olds who can manage in a group setting.

PASS Camp offers children a chance to engage together socially through structured musical experiences. Students engage in fine arts experiences of songwriting, musical ensembles, dancing and drama exercises with a focus on social skills opportunities of taking turns and making friends.

An integrated camp experience for individuals with disabilities and typical peers that creates an environment that promotes educational reinforcement, physical activity, social skills, cooperative group learning and will facilitate access, equity and inclusion.

Led by an art therapist, this camp invites students to explore their inner worlds by shaping, molding and creating meaningful art from clay, wood, and other materials. Discover how the act of sculpting can help release emotions, foster personal growth and connect you to deeper layers of your identity. Students use the process of sculpture to work through challenges, gain insights and express emotions that may be difficult to put into words. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or new to sculpture, this camp offers a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

Does your child love to dance and sing? Our inclusive Showstopper Camp teaches musical theater skills of singing, dancing and drama in a creative environment with peers of all abilities. Each day, we focus on a different musical theater show.

Our parent/child camp features the experience of two professionals – music therapy and speech therapy. This pre-camp meets for only 45-min/day for one week providing opportunities to increase communication and socialization through musical interventions.

Steps to Independence is the intensive therapy program at LeafBridge. This program is an evidence-based training model of increased frequency and duration of physical, occupational, and speech therapy to work on achieving meaningful, functional goals. It is a collaborative model of care that involves the therapists and the family working together on goal development, education, and carryover.

We offer a variety of Social Skills Groups to help promote increased opportunities for communication and socialization with peers. Groups enable students age 3 to 22 to have an opportunity to generalize their goals in a fun and natural way.

Does your child love to dance and sing to Taylor Swift? Our inclusive The Eras Camp teaches skills of singing and dancing in a creative environment with peers of all abilities. Each day, we focus on a different songs from one of Taylor Swift’s albums.

Work on emotional regulation, sensory integration, communication, and exploration in this hands-on group led by our favorite SLPs and OTs. Get the best of both worlds in one amazing group!
