This inclusive and adapted class introduces music, theater, dance /movement and visual arts. Participants learn different art forms by engaging in movement to music, instrument play, creative dramatics, theater games, and other activities which incorporate singing, dancing, imagination and hands-on creativity. Students work to enhance gross motor skills and balance, develop body awareness and self expression, increase social interaction, and expand their creative abilities. Come make new friends and explore Disney-relate topics such as outer space, superheroes, fairy tales, around the world and more through the arts! Camp will include a rotation of art, music, dance, and drama, all facilitated by a team of Art and Music Therapists. Assessment prior to camp is required for any new FAA families. Orange Community Education & Recreation (OCER) seeks to create and promote inclusion across all facilities, programs and classes that we offer. We welcome people of all ages and abilities to participate in any of our programs. OCER offers participants with disabilities the opportunity to meet one-on-one to create an individualized Participant Accommodation Plan. During this meeting, you can tell us about your child and we can work together to create a plan for success.

Throughout the week, campers will step into the world of Broadway as they learn fun, age-appropriate songs and choreography inspired by popular musical theatre shows. In addition to performing, campers will tap into their creativity by designing and building sets and props that bring their musical numbers to life. From warm-ups and rehearsals to hands-on crafting and collaboration, campers will explore all sides of putting on a show while building confidence, teamwork and stage presence. At the end of the week, campers will combine their talents in an exciting performance showcase. Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS is a delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film.

Featuring favorite songs from the film, as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun.

Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship and, of course… sharing snacks.
