This camp is designed to be accessible and inclusive to youth with and without disabilities.
Get a taste of a variety of outdoor recreation skills and activities at the new Garfield Park Program Center! Kayaking, fishing, hiking and archery are possible activities; however, not all are guaranteed. Actual activities for the day are based on weather/water conditions, instructor decisions, and group preferences based on a pre-survey. Please bring a packed lunch, filled water bottle, and wear closed toe shoes. Bring a change of clothes/towel and be prepared to get wet. For kayaking, wear water shoes or sandals that strap around the heel (bare feet and flip flops are not permitted). *This camp will cancel in the event of extreme weather. Campers will utilize the adjacent shelter for periods of inclement weather as needed.
